Our first visit to this tearoom. We hadn’t booked and waited for a table to become free. Definitely worth the wait, the food and service were excellent and also good value for money. We had the lunch courses but have to say that the cakes looked amazing and we will be back to sample more. Worth noting too is the lovely surroundings of the boat yard, highlighted recommended

We had a gorgeous lunch. Tuna cheese melt and ploughman’s sandwich and homemade cakes. Such a lovely setting by the canal boats. Lovely place

What a delightful place. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was fabulous. Lovely polite young man who looked after us and it was such a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely recommend and come back again.

Could get my eyes to stay in one spot: I wanted to check out all the little decorations they sell, check all the cakes on the display, and adore the view of the outside.
Staff is so welcoming and attentive-genuinely felt like flying first class!
Do not drive past thinking "it's just a tea room" - it's a place with the view and absolutely gorgeous food and drinks.

I ordered the large breakfast (pictured) and a black Americano. They use Rijo42 blend which I like when it is well made..IT CERTAINLY IS HERE! I enjoyed the coffee so much I ordered a second! The breakfast was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Compliments to the young lady on table service for her friendly efficient service. The large breakfast is at the top of my price range at £10.50 meaning this will only be a treat rather than a go to place for breakfast. But a treat it is!! A beautiful breakfast in a beautiful location.My first visit to this place I highly recommend it staff was very friendly even though it was busy we didn't wait too long to be served or for our food wasn't rushed for the use of our table for other diners food was excellent and plenty we had the hot food platter for two will definitely be returning again soon

Went in for lunch today. Pleasent atmosphere and a good menu choice. Staff were friendly and plentiful. Meal was great and served within time expected. Didn't have time to try any of the great looking scones or cakes. Free parking. Will visit again to try the breakfast.
Called in for breakfast we opted for the large full English 10.50 each but we'll worth it cooked to order so fresh you could tell it was all local produce will definitely go again but will have the medium one then had a lovely walk along the canal highly recommend

I have just enjoyed what was the most perfect turkey roast dinner I've ever had, and I've had a lot! The portion size, perfect. The presentation, perfect. Each element cooked perfectly. What a Sunday treat; I'm glad I was too late for brunch!
